A portrait, made to last.
From newborns to founders, we create photographs designed for the moment they leave the studio. Wall art, heirloom albums, and headshots, made with the same fine art craft.
The Wet Silver difference.
The studio was built around a quiet idea. Your photographs deserve more than a folder you'll forget about, lost on a hard drive you'll replace in five years.
Every Wet Silver session is designed around what the photographs become afterward. Wall art for the home. An album for the shelf. Polished imagery for the next chapter of your career.
Different sessions, different deliverables, the same standard of craft.
Fine Prints
Archival prints on museum-grade paper, signed and protected. The kind of print a frame shop comments on when they unwrap it.
Heirloom Albums
Hand-bound albums designed around the story of your session. Linen, leather, fine paper. Built to be passed forward.
Wall Art
Framed pieces sized and styled for the rooms you actually live in. A consultation tells us where each one will hang before we make it.
Portrait sessions.
Every portrait session is built around the same fine art approach. Studio sittings, environmental sessions, and printed artwork tailored to the moment in your life worth marking.
Family Portraits
Portraits that capture a chapter, not just a year. Studio sittings and generational portraits for families ready to invest in artwork that lasts.
Maternity Sessions
A season worth photographing well. Editorial maternity sittings designed around the mother first, with prints and albums made to mark the wait.
Newborn Portraits
Studio newborn sessions held in a quiet, climate-controlled space. Artwork for the nursery and gallery walls, photographed in the first days that pass too quickly.
Senior Portraits
A senior year deserves more than a yearbook crop. Editorial sessions designed around your senior, their style, and the prints that end up on the mantel.
Brand & Headshots
For the founders, executives, and creatives whose face is part of the business. Editorial headshots and brand imagery for websites, press, and online presence.
Brand sessions are designed differently. Your headshot lives on a website, in press, on LinkedIn, in pitch decks. The deliverable is digital first.
The fine art craft stays the same. Lighting, direction, retouching, color. What changes is the shape of what you take home. Sessions are tailored for digital use, with optional fine prints and office wall pieces available for clients who want them.
- Personal branding sessions for founders & creatives
- Executive headshots for teams and leadership
- Editorial imagery for press kits and websites
- Digital files licensed for marketing use
In their words.
I had the best experience with Lori for my headshots. She made me feel so comfortable and confident the entire time, which really shows in the photos. Lori has such a great eye for detail and knew exactly how to capture my personality while keeping everything professional. The whole process was smooth, fun, and honestly way less stressful than I expected.
Best photo shoot I have ever experienced. Lori had the most incredible angles. The lighting and poses revealed my very best look. Her after-shoot time to finished product is mindblowingly fast and beautiful. She is focused on YOU being gorgeous, not the time slot or the money involved.
I contacted Wet Silver for headshot photos. I booked an appointment online which was easy and convenient. Lori was professional and attentive. I was extremely impressed with my photos and am grateful I worked with Lori. I would absolutely recommend Wet Silver.
The studio is run by Lori Stead, a fine art portrait photographer based in Corpus Christi.
Her work is built on a simple belief. A photograph should outlive the technology that captured it. That is the whole tradition behind the name. Wet silver is the chemistry of a darkroom print, the medium photographers used when an image was meant to last a hundred years.
That is the standard every Wet Silver session is held to. Not every studio works this way. The clients who choose us are the ones who already understand why it matters.

The Wet Silver studio sits on South Staples Street in Corpus Christi. It is a working portrait studio, not a rented backdrop. Hand-selected sets, professional lighting, a wardrobe wall, and the kind of quiet that lets a sitting feel like a sitting.
Most clients begin with a phone consultation before any session is booked. It is the first place we make sure your investment is going somewhere worth it.
