Spring... Renew your life! | Corpus Christi TX Photography

Why does New Year begin in January? This is something I've often wondered. January seems such an odd time to start a new year. January 1st isn't even the beginning of a new season. It would make more sense to me if a new year begin in the spring.

Spring is about renewal. Spring is when you feel driven and motivated to make changes and to do things, to improve your life in your surroundings, to feel energized. Spring is when you recover from a harsh winter. Or maybe even a mild winter. And spring is such a beautiful time of year. The weather is getting warmer and the plants are getting greener and the sun is getting brighter and the days are getting longer…

Spring is also the best time of year to take pictures. Nature wakes up and becomes more vibrant. Everyone just seems happier. And as far as renewal and change goes, there's no better time to do some spring cleaning and to put some fresh art on your walls. Freshen up your life!

So many people make resolutions for New Year's, only to watch those resolutions fall apart. I'm convinced that if people made themselves the same promises in the springtime, they would be much more likely to see them through. We all have a renewed vigor in the spring.

So whether you're wanting to update your look, clean your home thoroughly, get in shape, or finally showcase your family, there is no better time than spring!
